The railway sleeper treatment plant Nasycalnia Podkładów w Czeremsze Sp. z o.o. is a company with a tradition longer than 77 years. Built by the Association of Coking Plants in Katowice, on 1 May 1939 it launched the production of wooden railway surfaces. Since June 2010, it has been a private company in which the majority share (more than 85%) is held by Kolejowe Zakłady Nawierzchniowe “Bieżanów” based in Kraków.
The rich history of the plant as well as extensive experience and high qualifications of the personnel facilitate fast processing of orders and smooth deliveries of contracted products. It offers a full package of materials for treated wooden railway surface, transmission and teletechnical poles and railway accessories.
The company’s flagship products include:
• sleepers, switch sleepers and bridge sleepers made of wood of coniferous trees (pine) and deciduous trees (beech, oak)
• poles (pinewood)
• sleepers and switch sleepers reinforced with rib slabs and accessories
• full range of coniferous timber — wet and dry.
Thanks to the adopted and consistently pursued development strategy the company became one of the largest and most modern producers of wooden railway surfaces in Europe. Thanks to its brave commercial policy the sleepers treatment plant Nasycalnia Podkładów w Czeremsze fully satisfies the needs of the domestic market and continuously adapts its offer to the increasing requirements of customers. It also satisfies all strict standards, which is confirmed by numerous certificates, including: FSC, ISO 9001, ISO 14001, FPC according to PN-EN 13145+A1:2012.
It is the first and the only treatment plant in Poland to offer wood surface materials treated solely with “Type-C” oil (WEI-C).
